I don't know if anyone is aware of this film that Justin is in called "Godkiller: Walk Among Us". But he voices the main character, Tommy, in it, and you can download the first part of the series here. It's really good so far and really weird to hear Justin in an acting role. Good weird of course haha. If anyone else has already watched it, what did you think?

| the 3 live nights of shows you can download :-D |
[24 Dec 2009|01:45AM] |
hey i thought i would share this gem if you hadn't come across it. you remember the 3 live shows they did in 3 consecutive nights recently? each show was dedicated to one of their albums, and all the audio is up for download. i used the megaupload link, and it sounds pretty good. you get all the songs, the convos & even some bonus songs that weren't on each cd! :) and don't worry, i've used this website for like a year now without issue. its at this website: http://www.bsidesrus.blogspot.com if you go anytime in the near future they will be on the front page, if not, just click on motion city soundtrack in the right-hand margin to bring up everything they have for them.
don't forget to use the 'bsidesrus' password when winzip asks for one :)
enjoy! :D

I am cleaning out my closet and I found this MCS tank top. I've only worn it a couple of times, so it's in great condition. It looks like you can't get it from their website, so I thought I'd offer it up to anyone who is interested.
It is a ladies medium tank top from American Apparel.
( Picture )
I am asking for $10 or best offer, with shipping included in that. I can only accept paypal, and I'll ship it the day I get the payment.

| MTV interview part two |
[07 Aug 2009|08:31PM] |
And since part one of Hoppus' interview went so well, we decided to roll out part two today: In it, MCS talk at length about how great it was working with the Blink bassist on not one, but two of their albums, his great (yet unorthodox) production techniques, and, really, just how great he is in general.
"You're pretty much awesome and, like, the best person that I've ever met," MCS guitarist Josh Cain told Hoppus. "Just being around you, I'm more creative and better at what I do."
Hoppus then asked Motion City frontman Justin Pierre how his "hands-on" approach to producing inspired the band to make My Dinosaur Life their best album yet.
"I think when you came in that one day, about a week into recording, and you were physically beating me and said, 'I'm going to beat this record into you, until you get it right,' " Pierre explained. "That really hit me."

| the band reveals their new album name! |
[31 Jul 2009|07:55PM] |
"I just worked with them and produced their new record, which is titled My Dinosaur Life," Hoppus said right off the bat. "Is that what it's called?"
"I think so," MCS frontman Justin Pierre responded, a little bit dumbfounded. "Currently we're having inter-band discussions between This Dinosaur Life, My Dinosaur Life, This Is My Dinosaur Life, His Dinosaur Life, Her Dinosaur Life, Their Dinosaur Lives. But I'm partial to My."
"I think My is good," Hoppus shot back. "Can we firm it up right now? My Dinosaur Life."
And firmed up it was. So, having just shocked the band into revealing one closely guarded secret, Hoppus got right to work on prying another bit of information from the band: Perhaps getting them to say something shocking about the new record? (What we in the biz call the "pull quote.") And once again, he struck gold.
"I think it's an awesome record," guitarist Joshua Crain said. "It's definitely a step up. Not that Commit This to Memory [the band's breakthrough 2005 effort] is a bad record, I love that record. I just feel that we got a little more aggro on this one."

Godkiller & Comic Con
Check it out:
During the writing of our latest record I (Justin) took an evening off to do some voice work in an upcoming Animated Film called Godkiller. It is written and directed by the sometimes talented Matt Pizzolo. Look him up on IMDB. We wanted to inform any of you that are already going to Comic Con this weekend that there will be shenanigans galore & a signing by some of the cast members of the film(Danielle Harris of Rob Zombie's Halloween Films & Free Willy, Bill Moseley of The Devil's Rejects & Honey I Blew Up The Kid, Nicki Clyne of Battlestar Galactica & John Tucker Must Die, & me). I am dropping in a link to the trailer of the film. Be warned! This is 17 & over type of material beyond this point. It involves some seriously twisted shit(which is why I signed on to do it). You have been warned.
http://halo8.tv/blog-index/
I hope you enjoy & come out. I really don't want to be that one guy involved in the project that nobody gives a rip about. The signing times are as follows:
Saturday July 25th (in the Halo-8 booth, #430) 2pm: POP SKULL (Katz, Katz, Hughes, Henry) 3pm: XOMBIE (Farr, Edwards) 4pm: GODKILLER (Moseley, Clyne, Pierre, Pizzolo)
Sunday July 26th (official Comic Con signings in the Sails Pavilion) 12pm: GODKILLER in room AA1 (Harris, Clyne, Pierre, Pizzolo) 1pm: POP SKULL in room AA1 (Katz, Katz, Hughes, Henry) 2pm: XOMBIE in room AA3 (Farr, Edwards)
Please pass this information and link on to any humans you know; good or bad. Thank you.
-Justin.
Justin voices Tommy in the film. Go and support him :D
